You should use the guidelines from Chapter 8 in our text for this assignment. Select some noun (proper or common) in your life and write a personal essay on this subject. The noun might be any person, place or thing you are interested in writing about and willing to dig deeply into whether through research or memory. The rubric following the choices describes how the writing will be evaluated.<br \/>\nSelect a specific event in your own life and write a brief memoir that examines and interprets that event.<br \/>\nSelect another person to write about an event in his\/her life. This person can be family, friend, or childhood hero(ine) whom you want to understand better as a person.<br \/>\nSelect a specific noun, place, thing, etc. that had or has some effect on you and others.<br \/>\nThis essay will be due on September 20 submitted on Canvas.\u00a0 A hard copy may also be required.<br \/>\nContent: This section is most important over all.<br \/>\n1)\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0The creative nonfiction piece will consist of 5-6 pages of original creative work; this work may consist of either prose alone of a combination of formats, but should be created specifically for this class assignment.<br \/>\n2)\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0The piece should include a title. The title should be an invitation of some sort, an open door for the reader to walk through.
